Connecting to Microsoft Intune

On your Windows machine

Open Settings, and then select Accounts

Select Access work or school, and then select Connect

Set up a work or school account

Select Join this device to Azure Active Directory

Once on the Let's get you signed in screen, type your company email address

Example: johnny@itjones.com or first.last@yourcompany.com

Now input your password, and then select Sign in.

Select Join and continue

On the You're all set screen click Done.

Make sure to review and verify the information to make sure it's right

Changing your logged in account

Select the Start button, select your current account picture, and then select Switch account Select Other user then sign in using your email and password.

Installing the Profile Migration Tool

Download and Install the Profile Migration Tool

Migration Tool Installation

Run the program

Select Install

Accept the terms in the License Agreement

Select Yes - Create a desktop shortcut and then select Next

Select Install and wait for the installation to finish.

Select Launch Laplink PCmover Profile Migrator and unselect User Guide and then click Finish

Click Close on the window displaying Installation Successfully Completed

Utilizing the Profile Migration Tool

Once the above application is installed wait for PCmover to finish analyzing your system.

Using the Migration Tool

On the User Accounts window select your old account on the Select a Source User section and select your new account on the Select a target User section, then click Map

Click Start Transfer

Click Start Transfer again on the next window.

Enter your Name and Email Address, then click Next.

Click Ok on the next window and wait for the transfer to complete.

Click Finish and wait for your PC to restart.

Sign in to your new account using your email and password, then close out the Congratulations! window.

You are now all set!

Troubleshooting

If autodiscovery doesn’t work and it’s asking for an MDM Server URL
